emo 2008 62nd entry

(What's going on these days??)

  • THE CURRENT gruesome discovery that several dairy companies in China were using a toxic chemical additive (Melamine) in the formulation (or reconstitution by some middlemen for retail sales) of baby milk powder/formula and other milk products like chocolates, ice-cream, etc., which had caused kidney stone formation in more than 54,000 children, a few resulting in death, only underscores the fundamental need for a competent, responsible, and vigilant governmental sentinel in every country, like the US-Food and Drug Administration or the Philippine Bureau of Food and Drug, for public protection.
  • Late last week, national women’s table tennis coach Liu Guodong rejected a new two—year deal offered by the Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA), and his tenure is scheduled to end on December 31.
  • US pop megastar Madonna and her British film director husband Guy Ritchie are to divorce, a newspaper reported on Wednesday, saying an announcement was imminent. After months of media speculation about strains in the eight-year marriage, Britain's Sun tabloid cited a "highly-placed source" as saying the split was being pushed for by 40-year-old Ritchie.
  • Cambodia and Thailand have been sparring over land near the temple since July, and tensions soared this week after talks on Monday failed and about 80 Thai troops entered a disputed area, enraging Cambodia. Gunfights broke out in the afternoon in a number of small patches of disputed land just a few kilometres away from the 11th century Preah Vihear temple, a UN World Heritage site which is on Cambodian territory.
  • A New York Times-CBS News poll late Tuesday had the Democrat ahead of McCain by the huge margin of 14 points, 53 to 39 percent, compared to a lead of just three points before last week's second presidential debate. Obama supporter Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm retorted however that McCain spent too much time on issues people don't care about. "He looked frankly desperate, he looked angry, frankly he did not look presidential." As millions of voters fret about possibly losing their jobs and health care, the perils of a negative strategy from McCain were clear as Obama built up a commanding lead in several polls.
  • Last but not least.. a shocking news that Hilton's for President!?! Hillary Clinton, watch out: there might be a woman in the White House after all. Paris Hilton is now running for president of the United States of America. OK, not really. But after John McCain released an ad that compared Barack Obama to celebrities like Britney Spears and Ms. Hilton, Paris threw her hat into the ring, too. She put out her own political ad—it went viral so quickly that it's been watched by more than 5 million people. "I want America to know that I'm, like, totally ready to lead," the heiress says. That got us thinking: what would a Paris Hilton administration actually look like? Adam McKay, founder of the site FunnyOrDie.com, which put together the Paris video and is working on a followup...

Anyway the White House had already turned PINK because of the Breast Cancer Awerness Month Event!!! Mrs Bush said: "we're showing our support of breast cancer awareness and research in a historic way. In recognition of the mothers, daughters, sisters, and wives who struggle with this disease, we're lighting the White House in pink, which is the color of the cause. May our lights tonight shine as beacons around the world -- a signal of the United States' commitment to saving lives from breast cancer." If Hilton really turns President, the White House would become the Pink House... PERMANENTLY!!! I think she'd do everything pink. It would be pink on the outside, pink carpets, pink furniture, pink jammies. The men on her staff would be cool with it—they'd be shirtless!!!

    Here's her new home!!!

Here's the funny and retarded ad for
    The Paris Hilton Presidential Campaign!!!

Today's "Dance Improvisation Class" was fun. There's new friends and people whom i don't really like for now. Used to be pretty close to her, but.. She'd changed. She's very arrogant now. I even messaged her asking is there any homework for Dance Improvisation but she didn't reply. Sigh.. Could life get any better??

emo 2008 55th entry

Didn't blog for a month plus two?? Life had been pretty bad. There's up and down as usual. Sometime there's too much lie in covering up everything where I dunno whether I'm living in the real world. More of a fact and fiction story. Ha. Some people are just lucky to have a good life where maybe 50-60% of the family fighting for Share after parents death?? Well. Sad to say but.. my family is one of them.

My mom left our family when I'm 3.y.o. My dad died during my primary 5. I just turned 21.y.o. last month. Other than my 2 Brother and a Sister.. I'm the youngest in my family. My eldest brother and sister are already married and got their own house. My Second brother got engaged and he shifted to his fiancee place recently leaving me myself and I staying at my dad's house.

My dad left this house equally shared by the 4 of us if we decided to sell the house. 25% each which cost probably 40-50 thousand per person and the far most we'll get 60 thousand?? After I turned 21, which is last month. My eldest brother and sister kept pestering me to sell the house and shift out to my eldest brother place. I'm just damn disappointed that all this are actuall happening. Simply just couldn't believe it.

To tell the truth.. I don't wanna sell at all. Firstly they all already got their own apartment where i obviously do not have one if i sell the house. Secondly if i shift to my brother's place, after days, weeks, months or maybe years i gotta shift out and get my own apartment too. Anyway, they can just chase me out of the house in hours, days or weeks. Simply just anytime is the fact. And even if i sell the house i got the money and rent a room.. I'll only be able to use the money to pay for a few years. And what happens next?? I'll end up with no money, no house and own NOTHING!!!

Sigh. Enough of all this shit..

Hmmm. There's this dance reality show called 舞林大道 that's filmed in Taiwan recently. Somehow it's like the next's "So You Think You Can Dance". But it's more of Singapore's "The Dance Floor" or should i say "American's Next Best Crew"?? Lolx. Anyway it's far more interesting then Singapore's version. Really looking forward to watch the next episode!!! Oh ya, I still can't get over the fact that Malaysia got their own SYTYCD where Singapore don't?!?

Chao.
